Attraction

I cannot say if it changed their course—

but mine?

Mine has been set in motion,

a sudden force,

a momentum I never expected.

The paths we walked,

parallel for so long,

are now entwined,

and my journey—

accelerated in a direction I could not anticipate,

pushing me beyond what I thought possible.

Will their trajectory shift, too?

I can’t know.

But I do know this:

nothing will be the same.

Not for me.

Not anymore.
