Gun Blog 1

Something I've yet to bring up is my own gun hobbies. I have a few firearms and continue to accumulate more to fill in gaps in my own offensive capabilities.

Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC), a 9mm compact carbine that's ideal for home defense or indoor situations.

I recently came across this Extar EP9 PCC while doing some research.

It is very lightweight while maintaining capabilities featured on rifles, such as a picatinny style top rail or mlok handguard. Even the grip and trigger are AR-style, making it ideal for customizing to the exact specifications you need. It takes glock-style magazines, meaning up to 31 bullets per magazine. Get a load of that, what a feature to have.

There are others like AK-V or Ruger's PCC, however this one stood out for 2 reasons, the cost of the carbine itself which is in itself, shockingly low for the stated specifications and the product listing page itself in their own statements regarding the firearm. Very convincing without overpitching, a trait that shows restraints while commanding respect in their craft. I respect that.

Looking at that made me also consider also pairing it with a suppressor to complete the set. The color difference would be a bit jarring, but I can always just get a cheap sleeve.

Affordable, cheap, efficient. Talk about an ace in a sleeve.

That's the kind I'd want in my pocket in a game.

Total cost would be 550 + 300 + 10 + Taxes + FFL Fee

Still well under the price of the competition.
Springfield Kuna, CZ Scorpion, AK-V, Ruger PCC still costs more.

I think we have a winner here, but let's keep a tab on things for the time being.

We still have 2 other things to consider: optic and light.

The light, I will likely go with something like nitecore or olight, just depends on their options.

The optic, I'm thinking something like the holosun EPS-GD-MRS for the gold reticle.

Unfortunately, the optic alone is almost the price of the firearm. How crazy.

Putting those two together definitely raises costs significantly. However, the final result would be quite the chemistry. Perfect little run and gun.
