Pepper X

As stated in my previous blog entries, I ordered some pepper X off ebay.

"Pepper X measures an average of 2.693 million Scoville heat units (SHU), beating the previous world record of 1.64 million SHU held by the Carolina Reaper.[1][2] While the seeds of the chili pepper produce no capsaicin, the chemical which produces the pepper's heat, the chemical is produced in highest concentration within the placental tissue holding the seeds.[5] As claimed by Guinness World Records, the curves and ridges of a Pepper X chili create more surface area for its placenta to grow"

Seems to be potent enough. Although my hopes are not very high considering how lacking the last dab hot sauce was. I expected it to be much hotter, intolerable, but after my experiments, I found it quite lackluster. Yes, very spicy. Yes, very intense. But nothing that really surprised me. It was all within reason.

So as to verify my bottle is not just a bad batch, I purchased the peppers themselves to do another challenge with. Today is my "friday" as it is the last day I work before the next 3 days off where I can record this "challenge"

I'm wondering how many I should eat. If I should just eat the whole bag on camera and talk about something? Maybe read out loud some light reading material to show my functionality and capability after consuming the supposed "Hottest Pepper"

It actually makes me laugh thinking back on all those viral youtube vids of people eating "spicy" things and turning into a mess over it. What a bunch of babies. Maybe they're acting up for the camera? I'm not sure. Can't trust anything on the internet. Either way, this viral hype pepper is on my agenda for after work tonight. I've recovered enough from the repeated last dab challenges I've been doing so I'm not too concerned. There's very little discomfort in my guts now so I think we're greenlit to carry out this experiment.

I sit here and wonder, if this is the hottest thing man has created...

Is there anything beyond that? Because this is disappointing.

What do I challenge after this?

Cuz this is just a condiment.
People are so over dramatic.

hardly gets my heart pumping
